You have 60 days from the reception of your shoes to benefit from the free return.
The returned items must respect the following conditions:
- they must not have been worn outside
- they must be in new condition

We recommend washing by hand. Before cleaning, we recommend removing the laces and insole.
Using a basin of lukewarm water (very hot water can cause the color to bleed), you can moisten the stained area of the shoe and use a mixture of water and Marseille soap to gently scrub the area with a small, soft brush (or toothbrush).
Once the shoe has been rinsed (it's important to rinse under clear water), wrap it in a clean towel to wring it out as much as possible.
Finally, dry in the open air, away from heat sources (radiators/fireplaces) and out of the sun (in the shade).

KOTO-C is a 100% recyclable sneaker. It can be returned to Ubac by writing to us at contact@ubac-store.com to be recycled and reintegrated into future productions.

Transported by sailboat
KOTO-C is transported by sail by the Blue Schooner Company, from Portugal to Finistère. A trip with almost zero carbon emissions. 14g are still necessary because the boat must turn on a small engine to maneuver when leaving or arriving in a port!
Vegan leather
KOTO-C is made of a material that mixes recycled cotton from old clothes and tencel, a fiber from wood.
Recycle
More than 50% of our clothes are made of cotton. Old cotton clothes are therefore a gold mine: they are available locally in large quantities and recycle materials destined for the garbage can.
Manufacturing
Assembled by a side stitching and a strobel assembly. These techniques allow for a resistant and flexible sneaker.
The production is carried out in a small workshop in the north of Porto, Portugal, in order to benefit from the best European know-how in shoe making.
Sole
Thick sole for good cushioning and anti-slip.
Made from production scraps and old soles crushed and reused.
Koto is a sneaker made of recycled cotton canvas, spun and woven in Spain. Made from old clothes, recycled cotton is more sustainable and ecological than conventional cotton which uses a lot of water. Recycled cotton is not chemically dyed and is also vegan, which allows us to obtain sneakers without animal material, by combining it with recycled rubber for the sole and recycled plastic laces. Ubac is committed to limiting its impact on the environment and the earth with natural and / or recycled materials, by manufacturing its products in France and Portugal in an ethical approach and respectful of manufacturers.
